Another view of the 4-unit diesel set, this time at Plymouth, PA, across the Susquehanna from Sugar Notch and Ashley. Vehicles on Route 11 can be seen at the top of the picture. This is only steps away from, if not actually at the site of, the Plymouth Shaft / Avondale Breaker where 110 miners died in an 1869 disaster. If you look closely, you can see some kind of ruins: a stone wall at the nose of the front engine and foundation remnants in the white birch behind the rear units.
