Here is a portion of the Susquehanna Valley between Nanticoke and Hunlock Creek. The Lackawanna track runs along the right side of the river. On the left side are the tracks of the Pennsylvania Railroad coming up from Sunbury. The PRR is not associated with NEPA, but it did its share of coal-hauling on its Sunbury Division and had an engine facility just south of Wilkes-Barre. The highway on the right side of the river is present-day Route 11. The speck under the "oo" of Bloomsburg is the Hunlock Creek Power Plant. Continue.
